Sawantwadi palace was the palace of ruling Khem-Sawant family of Bhosle clan constructed by KhemSawant III in 18th century.The red stone palace was decorated with Moti-Talao (Pond) in 1874. The palace has a collection of wood and clay artefacts along with number of paintings and jewellery belonging to the ruling family. Most of these paintings belong to 6th and 7th century. The palace is a hub for learning the 18th century Ganjifa Art, lacer work and woodwork and paintings.AtmeshwarTali near Vaishyawadi is a water reservoir believed to have been created 300 year ago by divine powers of Shri Damodar Swami.
