Ever since the foundation of Bikaner, the rulers of Bikaner had a prominent and magnificent role in the history of India.
To preserve the rich culture of Bikaner, Maharaja Narendra Singh Ji's present daughter opened a museum called Prachina, in October, 2000.Prachina is an effort to point out the aristocratic patronage which boomed and lasted in Bikaner. This museum thrives to create a cultural centre to recover the falling craft of Bikaner and combine it with the present life.
