The annual Nishagandhi Dance and Music Festival is held from February 22nd to 27th at the Kanakakannu Palace in Thiruvananthapuram. Earlier, the palace was served as the cultural venue for the erstwhile Maharajas of Thiruvananthapuram. Ethnic dance and music performances by artists from all over India are held during the festival.
