In the Bandhavgarh National Park, wildlife can be spotted in primarily two ways – the jeep safari and the elephant safari. The jeep safari is usually conducted from the early morning hours till the evening and a forest department guide is present during these. The timings for the safari varies according to the time of the year. It is recommended that one books the safari 90 days before the date of travel as during peak seasons, safaris may be overbooked. On the other hand, the elephant safari is conducted in the early morning hours and is recommended for tiger spotting. Prior booking is not required for elephant safaris. These safaris are really adventurous.
