October to June

Bandhavgarh National Park remains open to the public from the months of October to June. The park is closed during the monsoon months i.e. July, August and September. The best time of the year to visit the park depends largely on the purpose of the visit. For those interested in watching migratory birds, the months between October and January are most suitable. For those interested in seeing birds, tigers as well as other mammals, the months between January and March are ideal.For those interested in photographing birds and animals, especially tigers, the summer months between April and June are best suited as the heat causes the animals to move towards the water sources
