This attractive monument is located in the heart of Ashgabat. The most interesting feature about this monument is its Tripod structure. It is a famous tourist attraction spot in Turkmenistan. Surprisingly, this monument is taller than the nearby Presidential Palace.

The fortress of Nadir Shah was constructed during the 18th century. This fortress was mainly used for the country’s defence. It is in a rectangular form and unique factor is that it is surrounded by a moat. The beauty of the fortress unfolds itself with the view of the Kopet Dag Mountains from the top of it. The aura of the place can only be perceived after a visit to this site.

This particular mosque is the biggest one in the entire Central Asia. Amazing fact is that about twenty thousand men and women can pray in this mosque together. The decorations inside the mosque are also worth mentioning. The floors of the mosque are covered with carpets which are made by the Turkmen.

This mosque is relatively recently built. Geokdepe is the place where this mosque stands with four minarets surrounding it. This mosque was constructed to honour the soldiers and defenders of Geokdepe. This mosque is a prominent landmark of Turkmenistan.

Ashgabat theme park is the most appropriate place for the kids. Characters of Turkmen folklore greet the visitors at the entrance. The local people generally call the place Disney land. This amusement park never fails to win the heart of children. After long tiring journeys to heritage and historical sites, kids generally lose the spirit of journey.
