At Kondoa, there are rock paintings that date back to 2000 years. There are around 1600 such paintings spread over 200 different sites with the Irangi Hills. The entire site has been declared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

It is the tallest uninterrupted fall of Africa which drops from 235 meters. The best time to see the fall is in March as heavy rainfall makes the drop stronger. During the dry season, you can see marabou storks as they come here for breeding.

At Iringa there is a Stone Age site which was discovered in 1950s during excavation. It is a proof of prehistoric nomadic hunter gatherers who lived here around the lake area. You get to see the artifacts collected from this place like their tools, fossilized bones etc that are now kept in museum. However the site itself is truly hypnotising due to marvelous rock formations found here.

One can find great diversity in food at Tanzania. Towards the coastal region you will find spicy food with coconut milk almost in maximum dishes. The mainland food has some typical dishes like rice, chapati, mishikaki (marinated beef), grilled fish, biryani, and various others. Kebab, samosa, rice patties, rice bread are famous snacks items of Tanzania. Tea and coffee are famous beverages of local people.

Q Bar atDar es Salaam hosts live music shows along with good English songs. Maisha club nearby the Q bar also has live music shows performed by local artists. There is a Karaoke every Wednesday at Coca Beach. Another best spot for live music show is Level 8 located at Kilimanjaro Kempinski Hotel at Dar es Salaam.

It is a famous, largest flea market located at Dar es Salaam. It is not a spot for buying expensive souvenirs but you can surely get clothes, fresh produce, household essentials and electric items. Lot of bargaining is must here otherwise you tend to buy things for higher prices.

It is one of the street markets of Tanzania which deals in second hand stuff called Mitumba in local language. Things like sweater, shoes, bags and jeans can be bought at cheap prices. There are various street food stalls here but the place is bit congested.

Is the best place for wildlife viewing therefore wildlife safaris are very famous here. The safaris are custom made to suit your needs. There are various safaris like base camp safari, golf safari, national park safari, local culture special safari, etc.

There are amazing beaches with crystal clear blue water and shimmering sand. One can relax on beaches with a glass of beer in the evening. The cold breeze blows your mind away. Zanzibar is a famous island along the coast of Tanzania. The beaches near this area are secluded and peaceful. You can walk along the shore enjoying the lashing sound of waves.

It displays an armed soldier made up of bronze. It is a tribute to all soldiers who fought in the First World War. It was built in 1927 and has inscription written on it in both English and Swahili.

Besides the Askari monument, the country has maintained the graves of British soldiers who died during the war in 17 cemeteries. Cemetery at the Dar es Salaam being the largest one holds 1738 graves.

It was built by German Missionaries towards the end of 19th century. Located at Dar es Salaam, it serves as a cathedral. The carefully grown church’s garden refreshes the visitors while the red tiled belfry rising high above the surroundings makes you feel relaxed.
