Breuninger are good departmental stores.

Stuttgarter Fea Market in Karlsplatz is a colourful and extravagant affair where you will find colourful wares that come with the twang of nostalgia.

Relaxing activities list from a glittering bunch of distressing spas like das leuze mineral spa, jasmine Thai massage and spa. Another relaxing feature is going to swimming pools like Fildorado. A unique sauna zone called Bad Duerrheim is a must visit for relaxing. Apart from this, yoga classes and golf courses are also on offer.

Sports and outdoor activities like football, handball, ice hockey, tennis and water polo are the exciting range of sports which the locals rave about. Adventure sports popular here are car-racing and cycling tournaments.

Dating back to the 18th century, this church has beautiful renaissance architecture and is the burial place of King Charles I and his beloved wife Olga. It currently houses the state museum of Wurttemberg which is worth a visit.

This royal palace is an ancient heritage site and today contains within its grounds three museums. It is famous for having had great architects constructing the palace in three kinds of designs (rococo, baroque and empire).

Originally once a royal palace it was converted into a zoo as well as a botanical garden to double as a major tourist attraction. The zoo keeps animals (home to all kinds of apes with their families as well are a strange specialty), birds, fishes and even insects (different kinds of rare species). This park is lined with very old oak trees. There are a two more parks near the castle Hohenheim and another near the Bosper locality of Stuttgart.

Here is a park renowned for having held gardening shows and is referred to as Green U by the locals. Its actual name is Rosenstein Park since it is located near the Rosenstein museum.
