This is considered as one of the three best grasslands in the entire world and is located in the north-eastern part of Inner Mongolia. There are two lakes called Hulun and Buir from which the grassland acquires its name. The beautiful grassland landscape changes with changing seasons but is perhaps most beautiful between May to August when it is dotted with colorful flowers and birds with cattle grazing all around. There are a number of clubs and bars in Ulaanbaatar where live music performances take place regularly. Traditional Mongolian music performances are also there for the tourists.

Visiting bars, pubs and nightclubs is a popular pastime for Mongolians and with more than 600 of them, Ulaanbaatar truly has a vibrating and pulsating nightlife.

NaranTuul Flea Market in Bayanzurkh district of Ulaanbaatar is one of the largest flea markets in the entire country and all sorts of goods are available here. This flea market is one of the biggest in Asia.

There streets markets in different parts of Ulaanbaatar selling different types of everyday required products and these markets are mostly visited by the local people.

Located in OrdosCity, the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan features traditional Mongolian style architecture and was built between years 1954 to 1956 by the then Chinese Government. The Mausoleum is actually a cenotaph as the real burial site of Genghis Khan is still unknown and the coffin inside it also empty. You can visit the mausoleum anytime between May to September.

TheDazhaoTemple is also known as the HongciTemple and is located in Yuquan District of Hohhot and was built in the year 1579. There is a 2.5m high rare silver made statue of Sakyamuniinside the temple and it also has an excellent collection of ancient Buddhist scriptures. With its impressive buildings, fascinating statues and splendid frescos the DazhaoTemple is one of the most tourist destination in entire Mongolia and from June to September is the best time of the year for visiting the temple.

The Wudangzhao Monastery, located on the JihuluntuMountain is a Tibetan Buddhist temple that is one of the four largest of its kind in entire China. For chanting Buddhist scriptures there are six halls inside the monastery and the monastery looks truly grand with three Buddhist mansions, a number of lama dormitories and a mausoleum. Best of year for visiting the monastery is between June and September.

The National Museum of Mongolia has a lot of exhibits associated with the geography, flora and fauna of the country and is located in Ulaanbaatar. The Museum of National History of Mongolia is also located in Ulaanbaatar and allows the tourists glimpses of natural and geological history of the country. The BogdKhaanPalaceMuseum is the oldest museum in Mongolia and has more than 8000 different types of exhibits. The Choijin Lama Temple Museum, Zanabazar Museum of Fine Art in Ulaanbaatar and the International Intellectual Museum are also popular among tourists.

The whole of Mongolia is like a huge national park with grasslands, lakes, rivers and mountains and you can always enjoy your time with complete leisure amidst natural surroundings anywhere in the country. The Gorkhi-Terelj National Park is one of the most sought after tourism destinations in Mongolia and is a place of extraordinary beauty and wilderness landscapes.

The Gorkhi-Terelj National Park offers a number of geological structures for exploration and one should never leave Mongolia without visiting this place.
