The easiest and only way to really get into the country is by plane. There are only 2 airports that can support any major planes and they are located at Narsaruaq and Kangerlussuaq. Also, during the summer you can fly into the capital, Nuuk from Canada or Iceland. Getting into this country can be an expensive proposition because there are only two airlines that operate here including Air Iceland and Air Greenland. The best time to reach this place is during summer season when more flights go back and forth and you can catch some flights from Copenhagen, Keflavik, Iqaluit and Reykjavik. You can also take a chartered flight, especially if you are on a tour and that is typically included in the price.
