Aragorn’s Studio is more like a museum cum arts centre where one can see locals artists like potters and coconut carvers live in action. It all began when a metal sculptor known as Aragorn Dick-Read started working near the Trellis Bay in the East End. Now it has turned into a sprawling arts centre which is also a very popular venue for hosting parties.

North Shore Shell Museum is another location which can hardly be categorized as a proper museum. But it has several exhibits showing folk art of these islands. Its proprietor Egbert Donovan shows personal interest in showing around to the visitors. These exhibits are also put up for sale and tourists can easily buy these as personal souvenirs.

Sugar Mill Restaurant is a very popular restaurant in Apple Bay of Cane Garden Bay Area. It is very famous for its Caribbean food served with an array of cocktails, wines and a wide variety of deserts.On the Main St. of Road Town, there is an Indian restaurant named by Ruby Roti Queen Restaurant. It serves curried dishes of chicken, meat, shrimps along with roti.For authentic seafood, visit Potter’s by the Sea and Lobster Trap at West End.

Fish soup is very popular on these islands and is taken all throughout the day. Side dishes often comprise of cassava, rice dishes, plantain, sweet potato, lentil preparations and beans. Curry dishes can also be found.

One thing which should not be missed at any cost when you are visiting the British Virgin Islands is the local cocktail, Painkiller. This delicious cocktail is an invention by Soggy Dollar Bar which makes it with pineapple, coconut, orange juice, nutmeg along with rum. This White Bay famous bar is a great crowd puller.

There are several souvenir shops in the Road Town where you con find t-shirts and other local craft items which are ideal for the purpose of gifting. Otherwise around the beaches like Trellis Bay there is craft village where you can find local crafts made up of coconut, shells, etc.

The caves and lagoons of the Baths are very appealing to the adventure lovers who love exploring through the nooks of the giant rocks and boulders.

The British Virgin Islands has some of the best beaches of the Caribbean region. The Baths is one of the most popular. However, for a lesser crowded beach experience, one may visit the Spring Bay which is also situated in the Spanish Town & the Valley of British Virgin Islands. Although it may seem to be a bit secluded but its water is as good as that of Baths.

The Baths- It is the beach area on the island of Virgin Gorda. It has been declared as a national park which has numerous boulders all scattered along the beach. These boulders have been formed due to volcanic activity in this region some 70 million years ago. These huge rocks have formed several tunnels and caves which have made this beach a very popular tourist spot. There are stalls offering snorkelling kits at rent to the tourists. Apart from this there are several snack bars and showering spots for the visitors to this beach.

At the west end of Cane Garden Bay, there is the Callwood Rum Distillery. Run by the Callwood family, this distillery is 300 years old yet still in operations. Its Arundel Rum is still being produced by the age old process by using copper vats and wooden casks for aging. There is also a store which offers sample drinks along with offering their manufacture for sale.

The primary religion of the British Virgin Islands is Christianity. Majority of the population are Methodists followed by Anglicans and Catholics. Hinduism and Islam form the minority community.

One of the important places of worship on these islands is the Methodist Church of the Road Town. Dating back to 1924, this building is a classic example of West Indian styled timber construction. Also, there is St. George’s Episcopal Church which is an 18th century Anglican Church.

Kids are bound to have a good time on these islands. There are a number of beaches which have perfect location for building sand castles. The water along these beaches is absolutely safe for swimming and snorkelling.

One place which will definitely interest the kids as well as the grown ups is the Green VI Glass Studio. Situated in the Cane Garden Area, here a group of glass artists recycle the disposed glasses from the restaurants of this island and turn them into beautiful artworks. These include jewellery, bowls, sun catchers, etc. while they are making these beautiful pieces they are always happy to show their visitors how it is done. It will be a great learning experience for the young visitors.
