The best time to visit the country actually depends on where you are visiting which is strange because the rainy seasons in the country differ in the northern and southern part. If you are planning to visit the northern part of Ghana, make sure to avoid March until November when it rains. However, the southern part of the country gets the rainy season from April until the middle of November. The rest of the year is the dry season and is the perfect time to visit Ghana. December until March and April is the best time and during this time you can wander around the country, until you feel like dropping. Also, you can visit during the rainy season, but you might not be able to go out and experience everything you want to see because of the amount of rains.
