It stands on a stony island called Kurte. This fort, literally meaning ‘Ocean Fort’, was built in the year 1664 AD by the great Maratha warrior Shivaji. Bharadi Devi temple is a place of worship where Goddess Bharadimata lives. This temple has received significant importance because it is considered ‘jagrut’ and the deity is said to have amazing wish fulfilling powers. ‘Navas’ or wishes of devotees are said to be fulfilled by the resident goddess. This temple is located approximately 10 kms from Malvan.

The rural community of Achara of this place of worship of Lord Shiva that is commonly recognized as ‘inamdar Shri DevRameshwar’. The structural design of the place of worship is impressive and stunning. The main arrangement of the place of worship was built in the year 1684 AD.

The place of worship was built by Shri JayantraoSalgaonkar. The Ganesh temple has been structured as per the sacred principles of shrine structure in India. The statue of Ganesha is prepared from Panchdhatu. This central statue in the shrine is in the customary pose with Riddhi- Siddhi goddess. Goddess Siddhi is holding a Dhol along with a sword in her hand, whereas Goddess Riddhi holds a pen and paper. The entry has eight statues of Ganesha carved on top.

The Rock garden is situated near the Arase Mahal and on the Rocky Shore of Malvan. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the sunset. The view of the sea that garden offers is simply breathtaking.

This Beach is located at the junction of the Karli River and the Arabian Sea. Tarkarli Beach is well-known because of the clarity of the sea waters. This beach is also recognized as Sindhudurg‘Queen Beach’. One can snorkel as well as go scuba diving at Tarkarli Beach.
