Bengaluru has the perfect topography, soil type and climatic conditions for the growth of wine grapes. It receives the perfect amount of rainfall for diverse varieties of grapes like Chardonnay, Reisling, Souvignon Blanc and more to grow. Thanks to this, there are a few vineyards like Grover and Sula producing some of the finest indigenous wines. The best part is that they also conduct wine tours for visitors who are curious to know how wine is made, fermented and bottled. From the process of harvesting the grapes, the tour takes you through an operational factory to give you a glimpse of the nectar getting produced and bottled. There is also a tasting session where you can taste some of their finest reserves.
