About 13 kilometres from Solang, Vashisht is a small village on the banks of the Beas river. The village is renowned for its beautiful and ancient temples. The most prominent of them is the Vashisht Temple dedicated to Rishi Vashisht. The other famous temple is devoted to Lord Ram. Vashisht also has Turkish-style public baths which use water from the famous hot water sulphur springs. The water is said to have curative properties and attracts thousands of people who come here to take a bath in the magical water.
