Spreading over a vast area of 48, 562 sqm, The National Monument area is close to the peaceful Lake Gardens. This monument is referred as Tugu Negara in Malay and it is a splendid bronze sculpture built to honor those who died in Malaysia’s Freedom Struggle, during World War II. It includes the reflecting pool, the Cenopath, the ancillary gardens and a pavilion.
