Located at an altitude of 3570 meters, the historical monument offers unique conditions to carry out researches. Researchers on various disciplines such as glaciology, physiology, meteorology, cosmic rays are carried out extensively. It includes four laboratories and pavilion to conduct cosmic ray researchers and also a library. There is a well-designed weather observation station, a large workshop, and an astronomical cupola. The astronomical cupola has a 76cm large telescope. It is Jungfraujoch’s magnificent monument which is a must visit.
