This endeavor on the part of the government is to promote religious tourism in Lachen. This pilgrimage center has a main temple of 108ft height. In this temple there is an 87ft high statue of Lord Shiva constructed in the sitting posture at the top of the Solophok Hill. To offer a vast platform for the devotees of Lord Shiva, there are also replicas of the twelve Jyotirlingas along with the statue.
