The Ranthambhore National Park is the biggest natural attraction in Ranthambhore as well as SawaiMadhopur. The core area of the National park is a dense jungle, which is explored with the help of canters and gypsies. If you are lucky you could even catch sight of the elusive tiger in the area. The jungle is also home diverse and rich flora. The National Park is divided into several other areas or regions. The Akaula Region is also famous for tigers. Then there is Lakarda and Anantpura, where you may catch sights of Indian sloth bear, monkeys, porcupines and striped hyenas. Kachida Valley marks the outskirts of the National Park and is populated by bears and panthers. There are several lakes like Malik Talao, Padam Lake, RajbaghTalaoand Surval Lake in the region, which makes the place more picturesque and beautiful.
