Ranipuram formerly known as Madathumala is located 85 km away from the town of Kasaragod and is at a height of 750 m. It is 58 km away from Bekal and as beautiful as Ooty because of its wide variety of vegetation, monsoon forests, evergreen shoal trees and grasslands.
