But unlike the popular, New Zealanders welcome the winter season with joy and happiness. In fact a 10 day extravagant festival is organized to celebrate the commencement of winter in New Zealand. Queenstown Winter Festival is one event where the whole country comes together and celebrates. There are different kinds of events that take place in this festival, from comedy nights to dance shows, you can find all forms of entertainment at one place during this festival.
