Parks and gardens have been indispensible parts of the Bratislava landscape since the Middle Ages and the historic gardens of the city have such architectonic value that they are pretty well known even beyond the borders of the country. Sad Janka Krá?a is now the most well known park in Bratislava and this is also the oldest public park in entire Central and East Europe.
