Literally meaning the wheel of water, Panchakki was named after a super functioning water mill, which in the 17th century was considered as the supreme example of elaborate engineering. It is established in the complex of Baba Shah Musafir, at the Dargah Complex- which is about a kilometre’s distance from the main city of Aurangabad. It's most intriguing feature is that of having a dancing water fountain within its premises. Panchakki also boasts of having a very complex underwater pipeline whose reservoir is about 6km into the mountains
