There is a 90 minute show that elaborates on the history of Jamaica from Tiano days to the present day to help the tourists know more about Jamaica. This is conducted at 3pm daily in ‘Outameni cultural village’, opposite to Royalton resort. ‘African Caribbean Heritage Centre’ in Kingston houses a huge library. It preserves the folklore traditions of Jamaica and the socio-cultural aspects of the African Diaspora. Moreover, the Ocho Rios Jazz Festival, Red Stripe Reggae Sumfest, Caribbean Heritage Fest, World Reggae Dance Championships, Port Royal Seafood Festival are many other festivals and celebrations are held annually on this lively island and are worth witnessing.
