The Salar Jung Museum, Hyderabad
This museum houses the personal antique collection of Mir Yousuf Ali Khan Salar Jung III. Some of the notable collections include Chinese porcelain, Mughal miniatures, Persian carpets, and Japanese lacquerware, among others. It also houses sculptures such as Veiled Rebecca, Marguerite and Mephistopheles. Daggers that once belonged to Noor Jahan, Jahangir and Shah Jahan can also be found here.
The Nizam's Museum, Hyderabad
Before being converted, the Nizam's Museum was a palace acquired by the second Nizam in 1750. It showcases gifts and mementos presented to the last Nizam during the Silver Jubilee Celebration in 1937.The collection boasts of a fascinating collection of vintage cars which include a 930 Rolls Royce, a Packard and a Mark V Jaguar. You can also witness a few models of important buildings, which are made in silver.
Apart from this, it retains the better part of the culture and cuisine of Andhra Pradesh and has an already established tourism development as opposed to Telangana which has to start from scratch.
