The Mudumalai National Park is located at the tri-junction of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. This national park and wildlife sanctuary is very adjacent to Kabini and Mysore. This famous place offers multiple types of animals, birds and reptiles. The most interesting and rare animals here are Elephant, Gaur, Chowsingha, Mouse deer and Sloth bear. In this sanctuary, tigers are largely elusive but leopards are frequently seen on the move. Here, some of the rare birds are Oriental Honey-buzzard, Rufous, Bonelli’s Eagle, Jerdon’s Baza, Crested Goshawk, etc.
