While Epcot does not have its very own monuments, it does recreate some phenomenal structure from across the globe. The World Showcase area has a host of pavilions that pay tribute to buildings from across the world. The Mexico pavilion shows off the Mesoamerican pyramid, complete with steps and other details that depict these colossal ancient structures. Likewise, the Norwegian pavilion includes a beautiful stave church and a village around it, making visitors feel that they have stepped into a Scandinavian fairytale. The China pavilion welcomes visitors with a large Chinese gate while the Italian pavilion draws crowds towards the recreated renditions of St. Mark’s Campanile bell tower and Doge’s Palace. It also contains its very own Neptune Fountain. A realistic Minaret characterizes the Moroccan pavilion while a distant Eiffel Tower looms in the distance at the France pavilion.
