Lonja De La Seda was a silk exchange centre and a most prominent monument of Valencia. Being a magnum opus of civil Gothic structural design, this monument has been identified as World Heritage Zone by Unesco. Built between the 14th and 15th centuries, it has the firm exterior of a citadel; this structure will leave you spellbound with its splendid main hall and the inscrutable carvings which hold the secrets and mysteries of an ancient society here, that still stay unfolded.
