Why you should attend
An indigenous festival is very similar to Jallikattu, its counterpart in Tamil Nadu. The festival is more of a sport where buffaloes are raced by men in a track to honor the God Kadri Manjunatheshwara. This is done to seek his blessings before the harvest season and is a two-day festival. It is celebrated majorly by farmers and is a delight to see them in action and adventure sports.
Who should attend?
If you have been fascinated by adventure sports with buffaloes in Spain and other European countries, you will love this sport in our very own country. It happens during March.
