The Hidimba Temple is an ancient site amidst the serene surroundings in Dhoongri, about 15.3 kilometres away from Solang. The temple has religious importance too and is dedicated to Hidimba, the Asura wife of Bheema. The structure dates back to 1552 and was built by Maharaja Bahadur Singh. Its unique pagoda-style architecture is adorned by intricate carvings and sculptures.
