The GoldRushCemetery which is a 1.5-mile walk from downtown Skagway, attracts many visitors who are infatuated with Frank Reid and Soapy Smith. Both these men died from the infamous gunfight incident and are now buried in Gold Rush Cemetery. There are numerous signs that lead visitors across the railroad tracks to the site. From Reid's gravestone in the GoldRushCemetery, it is a short hike to the ReidFalls, which falls 300 feet down the mountainside.
