Central Market in Riga is the most famous shopping spot in Latvia. It is the oldest market serving the Latvians from 1330. It changed its location several times during all these centuries. It came to the current place in 1930. This is open from 7 am to 5 pm on Sunday and Mondays and until 6 pm on Tuesdays to Saturdays. Every month on first and last Mondays are allotted for maintenance work and hence parts of the market will be closed.
