Dedicated to police officers and firefighters of Calgary who lost their lives when they were on duty, this plaza was unveiled to public in January 2006. The plaza comprises of 2 monuments, located at City Hall, facing the Municipal building. The history of the strength and commitment of the fire services and police are represented by the Walls of Memory, while the 3 storey tower- Lantern of Light, features coloured glass which is illuminated every night.
