The name of JallianwalaBagh is engraved in the history of Punjab. It is the place where the massacre happened on the day of Punjabi New Year that was on April 13, 1919. The memorial of all those who lost their lives in this massacre was built here in 1951. It is situated adjacent to GoldenTemple which is another primary landmark of Punjab.
