Diwali is probably the biggest festival in India. It is the festival of light and joy where all the Indians come together to celebrate the festival. According to the Hindu mythology, Lord Ram had set foot in Ayodhya for the first time on this day, after completing his exile. It was a very happy moment for everybody, hence to celebrate this joyous moment, people light diyas on this day.
