Dehotsarg is located about 1.5 km away from Somnath, and is a pilgrimage spot for Hindus. It is said that from here Lord Krishna, after being hit by the arrow, departed on his journey to Neejdham to attain moksha. There are several other temples near Dehotsarg Tirtha, like Geeta Temple and Laxmi Narayan Temple. The Geeta Temple is very famous because the most sacred book of Hindus, which is considered to be preached by Lord Krishna, the BhagwatGeeta, is inscribed here on eighteen pillars.
