The majority of the population here consists of people following Christianity. There are about a few thousands of Jewish people staying in parts of Brno, Ostrava, and Prague. Amongst the Christian community, about 90% of people are Roman Catholics and hence the Roman Catholic Church is the largest one. Next in the line after this Roman Catholic Church comes Hussite Church. It was established by Jan Huss in as early as 15th century. The Protestant churches are also found here and you may visit the Evangelical Church located in Brethren as it is the biggest Protestant church in the entire country.
