Located in Almaty, this is the most popular museum of Kazakhstan. You can learn about the country’s history from the Bronze Age till the capital was transferred to Astana. Hall no.1 displays archaeological findings and special exhibits of golden adornments belonging to the 6th to 3rd centuries BC. Hall no.2 has ethnographic displays till the 18th century and the 19th to the 21st century in halls no. 3 and 4.
