This Lighthouse is situated in Bhatkal which is a few kilometres away from Murudeshwara. This Lighthouse lies beside the ruins of a Fort which was constructed in 1891. This lighthouse was used in those days to warn the ships about the shore and of any tragic weather conditions. Today it stands open to visitors and you can climb right up and enjoy the view from on top which is breath taking.
