Bhatkal Beach is one of the main beaches in Murudeshwara. This place used to be the main port during the Vijayanagara Empire. It is famous for the various temples situated upon a hillock which is 5 minutes away from the beach. The beauty of this beach is that it is surrounded by the Arabian Sea on three sides and is surrounded by the Western Ghats on one side which gives you quite a pleasant view.
