Arad Fort is a typical Islamic fort which is compact and defensive. Every corner of the fort is cylindrical and but the campus showcases a square structure. Located close to BahrainInternationalAirport it is regarded as an important castle. Marking its main entrance to Manama Souq, Bab Al Bahrain is a historical building in customs square. The ground floor of the building is an office providing tourist information and has a gift shop. Qal’at Al-Bahrain or Bahrain fort is the country’s main archaeological site listed as UNESCO World heritage site.
Abu Mahir Fort is a must visit for the excellent view of the Manama skyline. King Fahd Causeway is the most impressive road four-lane highway linking up Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. FortRiffa is worth visiting too for its breath taking view.
