If you are adventurous, then try The Anamalai Wildlife Sanctuary. This sanctuary is situated on the Western Ghats near Pollachi. It has various kinds of wildlife like the tiger, black-headed oriole, elephant, pangolin, panther, gaur, civet cat , green pigeon and the sloth bear. The Amaravathy reservoir in the Anamalais has a large number of crocodiles.
