Religious Places In Montreal

St. Joseph's Oratory is a grand basilica with a big copper dome that was created in the honour of St. Joseph, who is the Canada patron saint. The huge edifice, situated on the slopes of Mount Royale that is located in Quebec, contradicts its undemanding origins as the vision of a modest lay brother known as Brother André. Loads of people come from North America to pray for curing at the holy place of Fr. André, who was beatified a saint in the year 2010. At 263m (863 ft.), the holy place of St. Joseph is the biggest point in Montréal. Its arena is second in size merely to St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.
