This is an upscale shopping district where you can shop for brands, couture as well as youth trends. The market is characterized by parallel shopping streets each catering to a very different clientele. This market is home to Japan's very own Champs-Elysees knowns as Omotesando. The area is lined with manicured trees, high-end boutiques, cafes, branded stores, etc. On the other hand, Takeshita Dori is home is home to youth fashion stores, cramped and narrow streets.

 

Location: Harajuku District 

Timings: 11am to 10:30 pm

Known for: High end fashion as well as street shopping. 

Bargaining: Branded stores all have fixed prices items, there are some local vendors where you can try and bargain for a better price. Although the difference will not be big.
