Gion Matsuri In Japan

It is one the most famous festivals in Japan and is held annually in Tokyo. This is a religious event and lasts for one month. It starts in 1st July and commences on 31sr July. On 17th and 24th, July giant procession of beautifully decorated floats aka "Yamaboko Junko" are paraded on the streets if Kyoto’s Gion District.
