Oslo’s Holmenkollen presents an excellent opportunity for cross-country skiing and hiking. Close to the ski jump is also a ski museum. If you are looking for more fun, invest in an “akebrett”, a sledge and slide down to the Midstuen station. This is also the same place where the Winter Olympics took place in 1952.
