Although there are no laws that restrict photography or videography in South Korea, the tourist must respect the privacy and sentiments of the locals. Most tourists don't have any trouble taking photos or recording videos. However, some temples and museums strictly prohibit photography inside the premises. Tourists must respect their wishes and adhere to the rule and regulations. A fee may apply to certain attractions on photography and videography. If you take close up of people, just ask them before doing so. Most people in South Korea are very friends and would be happy to pose for a photograph.
Where photography is not allowed clear signs have been displayed and the notice is mentioned in English and other common languages. One thing you will notice everywhere in South Korea is how the people are obsessed with making photo collages. There are many places in major cities especially in Busan that do are a lot of artistic stuff such as painting portraits and drawing sketches, perhaps they could help you make a spectacular collage of your photos from your South Korean travels.
