How To Reach Las Vegas
There are many different ways to get to the city, but one of the easiest is to just fly into the international airport in Las Vegas, which is called McCarran International Airport and all major airlines fly into this airport. If you fly in and have booked a hotel prior to coming, you will be able to get a free shuttle to your hotel.
Also, you can drive in from the city, but be aware because of the proximity to many different locations it is an extremely popular weekend getaway and the roads will be clogged with traffic. The easiest way to get to the city is to follow the Interstate 15, which should be driven carefully since it is one of the deadliest stretch in the US. The trip from Los Angeles typically takes around 4 hours and should only be attempted if you are well rested. Also, if you are coming from the Utah side you can drive down Interstate 15, which takes you through Cedar City and St. George before hitting Arizona. After driving a few miles through Arizona, you will come upon Mesquite, Nevada before continuing on to Las Vegas. Another easy way to get into the city is by bus and there are many different buses that come from all over. Greyhound travels to Las Vegas from Salt Lake City, Kingman, Arizona, Phoenix, Arizona and even Los Angeles. There are many other bus services, as well as shuttle services from nearby cities, including St. George, Utah
