The house comprises of four sections (the family wing, the Sheikh’s wing, the guest wing and the attendants’ wing).

Movenpick is a good option for brunches whereas Block 338 has huge outdoor seating serving international cuisines. Beijing in Adilya is great for some Chinese food. If you are looking for Indian food head to the copper chimney and for Middle Eastern food the TahktJamsheed at the Gulf Hotel is wonderful. Casa Mexicana, Margarita Mexicana, Taco Bell and Senor Pacos are the best places for some Mexican food which are very few in Bahrain.

Manama hotels have the best live music performances to enjoy. Also Tie for Latin Quarter at Pars International Hotel and JJ's in Gudabiya is very good.  Ric'sKountry Kitchen in Juffair is worth a mention. Sherlock Holmes is a themed bar with live music most of the weeknights. Upstairs downstairs is very appealing as well.

Most of the night clubs are located in the famous 5 star hotels and are on till late night. Rock bottom, Likwid, Zahle, Z club and many other night clubs are great place to hang out and shake a leg and enjoy music.

The largest shopping mall in the region which is home to many popular American and British designer brands. Located in Manamathe mall is a part of Majid Al Futtaim Properties. Apart from the fancy shopping centres, once can locale local shops in the region as well. Manama Souq is a traditional souk where locals shop for the items of their use. It is a lively place with street full of shops selling different types of beautiful souvenirs and touristy items.

Al-‘Areen Wildlife Sanctuary is a small park conserving Arabia’s indigenous species like the Arabian oryx. Zebras and other animals can be found too here. Andulus garden and water garden are a perfect place for relaxing with family and friends. AdhariPark in the Zinj area is an amusement park and visited by many tourists.

Al Jaza’ir and AzZallaq beaches are apt for some experiencing fun water activities like swimming, fishing, and scuba diving. Diving has become very popular lately in Bahrain. Bahrain pearl is the perfect spot for diving along with FashtNajwah, Fifi wreck and Caisson wreck.

Horse riding is another popular sport in Bahrain. Also football and basketball is played in Bahrain. Jebel Al-Dukhan is the highest point in Bahrain which can be explored by mountaineers. Mountain biking is a popular desert sport.

Arad Fort is a typical Islamic fort which is compact and defensive. Every corner of the fort is cylindrical and but the campus showcases a square structure. Located close to BahrainInternationalAirport it is regarded as an important castle. Marking its main entrance to Manama Souq, Bab Al Bahrain is a historical building in customs square. The ground floor of the building is an office providing tourist information and has a gift shop. Qal’at Al-Bahrain or Bahrain fort is the country’s main archaeological site listed as UNESCO World heritage site.

Abu Mahir Fort is a must visit for the excellent view of the Manama skyline. King Fahd Causeway is the most impressive road four-lane highway linking up Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. FortRiffa is worth visiting too for its breath taking view.

When it comes to religious belief, Bahrain rules and customs are relaxed in comparison to other countries.Islam is the official religion of Bahrain and to learn more about Islam one should visit Al Fatih mosque, the largest building in the country. This modern structure is built with imported marble from Italy, the glass from Austria, and the teak wood from India. The Grand Mosque in Juffair offers free tours for non-Muslims, every day except Friday. The Ad-DirazTemple is a small Dilmun site. Its stone base which is the centrepiece is considered to be an altar.

Is a museum and research centre reflecting on Calligraphy which is central to Muslim religious and cultural life. The museum preserves works of many scholars.
