This airport is undergoing a remodelling project and will soon become a fully-fledged international airport with all facilities available for the travellers.
Air Arabia is the only international flight service provider that has a direct flight from Nagpur. Nagpur is also a Haj terminal and in season, Air India operates 747s direct to Jeddah. Those flying internationally will have to travel to Mumbai to change their flights.
